n.o. l e v i t y is conceived on April 22nd, 2006, Earth Day, the second day of French Quarter Fest, an historic Election Day in New Orleans, and the sixth anniversary of the pre-dawn raid in which federal agents liberated Elian Gonzalez from his relatives Miami home.

Searching dates on wikipedia is fun, but it ain't what this blog's about. This blog is about New Orleans and the kind of fun I like to have down here. Look for drunken post-club ramblings, culinary reviews, critiques and other random observations. This blog will tend more to professional entertainment journalism than my other collection of online oddness.
