What? We just dodged an underwhelming bullet of a 'tropical disturbance...' which is fairly easy when the gun was never pointed at you and it was actually a finger ready to flick a rubber band. Hey, at least I don't have to go to work at 4AM on a Saturday morning for 30 mph winds and a couple inches of rain because that's the first thing people are going to do when a storm is in the Gulf. Such is life!

I read the news today, oh boy...Well, that was a bit of an out of body experience, considering my current day job as a television news producer.
I never intended this to be a news blog, since that's my "day job," but this is certainly worth updating.

Even though I had to work to produce an actual newscast while everyone paraded by with cocktails, I went home with a few bottles of red, and sipped a glass of white while running playing pinch teleprompter.
